PURPOSE

The proceeds of Summer Daze Festival will have a significant impact on both The Improved Milton Experience's Main Street initiatives, Milton Community Center programs, and the larger community. The proceeds will be used to support a variety of projects that enhance the quality of life for residents and foster a sense of community. For the Milton Community Center, the funds will help expand and improve existing programs, such as youth activities, family programs such as Family Night and the Milton Model Train Museum, and educational workshops in our Makerspace. This will ensure that people of all ages have access to valuable resources and opportunities for personal growth and development. Additionally, the funds will be used to maintain and upgrade the community center's facilities, making it a more welcoming and functional space for everyone. In the larger community, the funds will support local projects and events that promote community building and engagement. This includes organizing more family-friendly events in our downtown, enhancing public spaces through Milton Garden Club, and providing support to our local businesses through our Main Street program and partnership with Bucknell’s SBDC Start Up Milton. By investing in these initiatives, the Summer Daze Festival helps create a vibrant and connected community where residents can come together, share experiences, and build lasting relationships. Overall, the funds raised through the Summer Daze Festival play a crucial role in enriching the lives of Milton residents and businesses.
